On most days my clothes are spotted with spit-up, dog drool, and baby food. (Seriously. I went into the closet for hoodie, noticed it had too many stains to wear on that day, so I hung it back up). I wear my hair up in messy bun to avoid the prying hands of my baby daughter. Jewelry? Only chewbeads. Make-up. Nope.
And I do not keep a baby book. I know it would be lovely, but I don't.
This is a space for me to reflect upon, document and share my family’s explorations with our daughters, who in this blog I call, Little Miss F. or LMF for short and LM🌿 (our Girlie & Birdie). I hope in some ways it will serve as an aesthetic archival of our early years and spark ideas for other families to explore with their young ones.
There is always something more to add to the to do list. I don't want to look back and say, "I wish we had done..." I know there will be things we missed or wished we could have done differently, but in the meantime, we are carving out our spaces for time with our daughters , time with family.
